• Experimentation is the key to any successful piece of art I create. Whether I am working in oils, acrylics, pastels, colored pencil, charcoal, graphite, on the computer or 'In the Round' (3-D), I believe the job dictates the medium used. I enjoy working with any media not only to obtain a finished piece but also to grow as an artist. I have been a Professional working artist for over 15 years and specialize in portraiture, landscapes, experimental works of art &  just about any medium that I can use to express myself.

  • My studies go back to 1989 when I obtained an AA  in Graphic Design from Commonwhealth International Graphics Studio, Honolulu-Hawaii, where I studied Graphic Design. This helped introduce me and my talents to a very successful career in the arts. Recently I decided to further my studies at Ringling School of Art and Design (1998-2002). There I obtained a BFA  in Illustration with a Minor in Fine Art. Currently I hold An AA in Graphic Design and an BFA in Illustration with a Minor in Fine Art.

  • Specialized skills:
    Portraits, Landscapes, Still-life, Illustrations, Inking/scratchboard, figure Painting & Drawing, Rendering Techniques and Graphic Design Process, Book making, Logo design and character design in 2-D & 3-D. Sculptures in Wood, Clay and metal. Computer Aided Design programs include: Photoshop, Illustrator, Streamline, Bryce and Painter.

    Apparel. I do commissioned work for private businesses and private collectors as well as freelance
    artwork. Currently I work as a Senior Graphics Illustrator for Vanity Fair in Tampa Florida.
